First of all thanks for your effort on reading the article to give your honest feedback.

The motivation of using the cli was just to avoid copying and pasting basic configuration to run Typescript. Some of my readers doesn't even know how to run Typescript and I prefer to avoid changing the topic of what I am writing to teach the basics, again. As you may noticed, I strongly suggested to skip the Typescript configuration part for who have experience with Typescript.

I had paste a link from the examples source that I used that runs in PHP over Typescript and was my personal choice to show how to apply them in Typescript, not to redo the wheel.
